From the 6th April 2022, the Divorce Dissolution and Separation Act 2020 reformed the law on divorce, dissolution and separation in the United Kingdom.

Parties can now solely or jointly file for divorce on a ‘no-fault’ basis. Parties are no longer required to provide evidence of “conduct” or “separation facts” and simply must provide a Statement of irretrievable breakdown of the marriage or civil partnership.

We conduct all the necessary work involved taking you from the issuing of your divorce Application to the Final Order stage. We aim to do so at a pace appropriate to your particular case taking into account other factors such as ongoing children proceedings and financial disputes.
